CARROT
The carrot is indigenous to the Near East and Central Asia.
It was first used as medicinal herb. Now it has spread all over the world and has become the common edible bulbous vegetable root very commonly used in our diet, eaten raw as a snack, or as a juice or ****ed as it has been introduced in many food recipes.
The carrot has many benefits and many be used in the relief of many ailments. It is stimulate of gastric fire, appetizer, diuretic. It relieves pain caused by intestinal worms and dysentery. It eradicates windiness and cough.
Carrots are a rich source of carotene, beneficial to the eyes. They contain high quantities of easily digestible calcium, vitamin E, vitamin C and vitamin D.
Carrots cleans and strengthen the teeth, have beneficial effect on eczema and proved useful in diabetes. They have antibacterial properties and heal intestinal ulcers.
It is regarded as a remedy for gout, gallstone troubles, liver diseases, and tuberculosis
